Terms and acceptable use

Last updated 12 August 2026

This is a free notification service built from public OpenStreetMap data. Use it to learn about surveillance near places you care about. Do not use it to hurt people or the services it depends on.

What we promise

We will handle contact details and watch areas as described in the privacy notice. There are no ads and we do not sell personal information.

We will make a reasonable effort to send alerts, but cannot promise that the map is complete, that an alert arrives on time, or that the service is always available. Camera data is contributed by OpenStreetMap volunteers and may be incomplete or wrong.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harass, threaten, stalk, identify, or target another person. Do not automate signups, probe whether someone uses the service, evade limits, overload the site, or turn notification channels into a spam relay.

Only submit a contact method you control or have clear permission to use. Follow the rules of your notification provider and OpenStreetMap when acting on the information here.

Keeping the service available

We may slow, reject, or remove abusive traffic and watch areas that put the service or another person at risk. We may change or stop the service. If these terms change in a meaningful way, this page will be updated before the new terms apply.

You can stop alerts at any time from the manage link or the unsubscribe control in a message.

Report a problem

Email help@flock-watch.us if a camera is in the wrong place, an alert made no sense, or somebody is abusing the service. Reports go directly to the operator, are used only to investigate the problem, and are deleted when the investigation no longer needs them. Do not include another person's contact details or a manage link.
